THE HIND AND THE WOLF:

God’s desire for His children is to see them stay and live in their calling in which He has called them. God’s high calling can be likened to when a person is at the top of a mountain peak.
The Bible tells us in Hab. 3:19 ‘The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. (KJV)’. Same as in Psalms 18:33 (KJV)’He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places’.
He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.
2 Sam 22:34 (KJV).
(The following is a quote from Oral Roberts’s Unleashing the Power of Praying in the spirit)
Now in order for you to fully comprehend what this scripture means for your life, you must understand that the hind, as described in this psalm and in other passages in the Bible, is the female red deer, and God has fashioned this creature in an especially unique way, unlike all the rest of His creation.
The hind appears to be the most correlated of all the animals God created, because she has a special tracking system built into her being. Her back feet track so perfectly with her front feet that when she hits the ground with her front feet, her back feet follow in perfect unison, landing in exactly the same spot, without missing an inch.
The hind's body, her inner self, her instincts, and whatever mind or intellect an animal possesses, are all so perfectly coordinated that she can run with abandon, leaping surefootedly over the rough, rugged terrain as she races with the wind! Whether she's bounding through the lowlands or turning her head to the high places, scaling the sides of a steep precipice, hurtling over mountain ledges or sharp rocks jutting from the walls of a narrow mountain pass, she leaps with wild abandon to the high places where God sets her, and He alone can set her there!
The Lord designed this wonderful creature this way because she bears the responsibility for her young, and she must find a special hiding place far removed from the dangers lurking down below, where she can camouflage herself, bear her young, and bring them safely back down the mountain.
As she races toward the heights, taking her little ones with her, she doesn't have to worry about plunging to her death because she knows her tracking system is flawless. She can turn her face to the wind and race with wild abandon to the inner recesses of her high places, where she can hide her young and NO ENEMY CAN FIND HER!

She can run with the fiercest stormy blast, through high places and low, skipping over the rocks and boulders, perfectly coordinated, knowing that her tracking system is so
flawless that she will not stumble! Therefore, she can run—number one, with
ABANDON; and number two, she can run with MOMENTUM. Really, if you think about it, momentum is the secret of the Christian life, because God did not create us to live at the bottom of the heap, to be trampled underfoot by the devil. He made us to rise to the top, to soar with the wind, to be the head and not the tail! (See Deuteronomy 28:13.)
God built within us a supernatural tracking system so we can run this race with faith, hope and confidence, not cowering in fear that we'll stumble or that the enemy will overpower us. He's put within us an inner tracking system by His Holy Spirit that gives us SUPERNATURAL MOMENTUM—the type of momentum that the hind possesses through her unique tracking system!”

Just as the hind as very good tracking system and can stay on the mountain top and carry out its operation, we must be careful as Christians when at the peak of our calling, because at that same mountain, the wolf is around the corner looking for that Deer to devour.
It is seen clearly from the Bible that, the Bible refers to the Devil and his demons as wolves and dogs interchangeably.
Take a look at the following Bible verses:

1.) “Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain.
Ezek 22:27 (KJV)”.
2.) “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
Matt 10:16 (KJV)”
3.) “Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
Luke 10:3 (KJV)”
4.) “For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. (paul speaking)
Acts 20:29 (KJV)”

It should also be noted that Wolves belong to the dog family. And in the scripture, are also referred to as dogs.
5.) “Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
Phil 3:2 (KJV)”
6.).. .“For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie
Rev 22:15 (KJV)”

So, my dear brothers and sisters, be not ignorant about the devices of SATAN, especially when you are at the peak of your call. Take a look at the following scripture, regarding the temptation of JESUS:
And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. 11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
Matt 4:6-11 (KJV)”
From the above scripture, it may be seen that at the peak of one’s calling, one’s tracking system must always be alert and you must never be dull of the tracking system, in order to tell when the wolf is just nearby, ready to devour and you resist the devil by the word of GOD, which is seen as the SWORD  of GOD.
Thank you Holy Spirit. I pray the Holy Ghost will enlighten our mind and spirit and strengthen our bodies to do His will in JESUS NAME. AMEN.
